The method of space-time conservation element solution element (STCS) for 2-D Euler equations is briefly introduced. The scheme is found to possess almost no dispersion etior and the non-reflecting boundary condition is strikingly simple. It is then carefully tested in several benchmark CAA (Computational Aeroacoustics) problems from weak linear acoustic waves to strongly non-linear or even discontinuous waves to demonstrate its robustness.
