Abstract

Investigations on temperature and moisture requirements of Haemonchus contortus Rudolphi, have been meager (Veglia, 1915; Shotb, 1944) and in none was humidity carefully controlled. The present work was planned to determine temperature-humidity effects on the developing eggs and pre-parasitic larvae of this parasite, and to test the susceptibility of these life-history stages to several surface-active compounds.
