Bone marrow cells of chronic myelocytic leukemic patients were cultured in a diffusion chamber system. The proliferation of neutrophilic granulocytes was orderly, starting in the myeloblasts and promyelocytes, passing through successive phases of maturation to become segmented neutrophils.
