Measurement of current with a pellat-type electrodynamometer

Abstract

The value of an elec tric current has been determined in absolute mea~ur e by m eans of an electrodynamometer, and simultaneously by standard cells and standard r esistors as currently maintained . The electrodynamometer used was of the Pellat type, a nd featured a fu sed silica balance beam and single layer helical coils.
