Innovative System Architecture to reach the Terabit/s Satellite

Abstract

The objective of the proposed paper is to present a candidate innovative system architecture to achieve the goal of a Terabit/s satellite. This system architecture will build on disruptive techniques and technologies in the area of very large platforms, highly efficient amplification, large reflectors, use of Q/V frequency bands as well as advanced air interface techniques. The paper will conclude with perspectives on further axes of investigation.
