Abstract

HIS BOOK consists ofthe proceedings of the sixth international Ephemeroptera conference and the tenth international symposium on Plecoptera, both of which were held in Granada, Spain, during July 1989. Despite the estranged title attached to this collection, very few review articles are included (most reflect original research), and "strategies"usually meant as some adaptational connotation-arc not invoked as a common theme in these articles. Perhaps the editors simply ran out of alternatives for the title, because many prefatory qualifiers, such as "Advances in ... ," were already taken.
