Abstract

The diamagnetic properties of superconductive Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu oxide thin films were studied, by using an rf SQUID susceptometer. The specimen showing diamagnetization up to about 100 K has also indicated the zero-resistance temperature of 102 K. The critical current density is estimated from the diamagnetization shielding effect to be 3.3×10 6 A/cm 2 at 4.2 K and 7×10 4 A/cm 2 at 77 K.
