The variation of surface magnetisation, caused by applied stress under the geomagnetic field, can be potentially used to evaluate the degree of fatigue damage for ferromagnetic materials. Under lab conditions, the normal components of surface magnetisation induced by circle tensile-compressive stress are measured in rotary bending fatigue experiments. Based on the effective field theory and the law of approach, the results of experiments are discussed. This work confirms the J-A-S model.
