Abstract

SummaryWith the aid of penicillin a strain of pleuropneumonia-like organism has been isolated from a culture of H. influenzae. This strain could be kept in continuous cultivation. Colonies of similar organisms were seen in 3 other cultures of H. influenzae, but their propagation in pure culture was not successful.
