Acidic constituents of <i>Dodonaea lobulata</i>

Abstract

The isolation of three new diterpenes and of a new flavone from Dodonaea lobulata is described. The diterpenes have been shown to be 8β-hydroxy-enantio-labdan-15-oic acid (Ia), 6β,8β-dihydroxy-enantio- labdan-15-oic acid (Ib), and 7α,8β-dihydroxy-enantio-labdan-15-oic acid (Ic). The new flavone is formulated as 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,4?- tetramethoxyflavone (XIa).
