NSSO 71st Round Same Data, Multiple Interpretations

Abstract

The decadal household survey of the health seeking behavior of Indian households reveals a treasure trove of information for health policy makers, activists and interested citizens.This article is an attempt at parsing data of the most recent of such survey ( 71st round conducted by National Sample Survey Organization) , taking stock of the situation in the Indian health sector as it obtains on the ground on date and its implication for the direction which our health policy needs to head towards.
