An annotated check-list of the italian vascular flora

Abstract

As a result of a funding of the Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio the Checklist of the Italian vascular flora has been realized. Many regional and taxonomic advisers, as well as contributors, took part in the research. 7634 units (species and subspecies), both native and naturalized alien, are reported to Italy with the distribution in the Italian administrative regions. For each region exclusive, endemic and protected units are reported. New taxa and new combinations are prosed. In order to easily find the up-to-date names and data and index of names and a list of notes are in appendix.
