The Skid Row Man and the Skid Row Status Community; With Perspectives on their Future

Abstract

To assist public policy and planning in urban redevelopment, the Skid Row community, its place in the city and its relationship to the rest of society are considered. The differences between Skid Row and non-Skid Row populations, institutions, housing, drinking and employment are discussed.
