Dubinin–Radushkevich Equation as the Equation for the Excess Adsorption Isotherm

Abstract

A modified Dubinin–Radushkevich (D–R) equation is proposed for the excess adsorption isotherm. It is shown that the equation describes the experimental excess adsorption isotherm excellently over a very wide range of gas equilibrium pressures. An algorithm is presented for the convertion of measurable values of excess adsorption to absolute values.
