Using the Lambert W function, the quadratic resisted projectile motion with an approximation of low-angle trajectory has been studied where the launching point is assumed to be higher than the landing point. Analytical solutions for the range and the time of flight are presented in terms of the secondary branch of the Lambert function W−1.
