Research priorities in Asian-American mental health delivery

Abstract

The author cites statistics which show that Asian-Americans underutilize mental health services. He suggests that more research is needed regarding the effects of such mental health delivery factors as language difference, familial reaction, community education, cultural changes, cross-cultural misdiagnosis, and therapeutic method.
