Severity of Disability in Elderly Patients with Low Back Pain in Amritsar, Punjab

Abstract

The present study deals with the severity of disability in 300 randomly selected patients with low back pain (149 males and 151 females) from Amritsar, Punjab, India, aged 40- 65 years. The modified Oswestry Pain Questionnaire was used for this purpose. The findings of the present study indicate a gradual increase of pain scores with the increase of age in both the sexes.
