Frequency of Natural Events

Abstract

In order to explain magnetic frequency relationships, development of cumulative frequency curve and its statistical interpretation are discussed; from frequency curve, relation between magnitude and design period in years is derived; applicability of procedure is shown by sampling from 1023-yr period of tree-ring indexes.
