akutils: Facilitating analyses of microbial communities through QIIME

Abstract

akutils is a collection of scripts to facilitate rapid and accurate analysis of microbial communities through QIIME and other dependencies. Major improvements for this release include addition of align_and_tree_workflow.sh and integration of core diversity analysis steps into a single workflow, cdiv_graphs_and_stats_workflow.sh. All documentation has been updated, the tutorial has been improved, and installation instructions are more complete.
