Susceptibility of farm shelter cypresses to three fungi associated with cypress canker disease.

Abstract

Trees in a trial plantation containing eight cypress varieties were examined for cypress canker disease. Three fungi were associated with the disease-Seiridium cardinale (Wagener) Sutton & Gibson, S. unicorne (Cke & Ell.) Sutton, and Pestalotiopsis funerea (Desm.)
