Prognostic Factors in Breast Cancer.

Abstract

This book documents the proceedings of the first Tenovus Symposium held in Cardiff, Wales in 1967. A coterie of international medical celebrities contributed to the broad repertoire. Areas considered were "Natural History of Breast Cancer," "Local Treatment in Primary Breast Cancer," "Adjuvant Treatment in Primary Breast Cancer," "Treatment of Metastatic Breast Cancer," "Early Diagnosis," "Tumor Cell Kinetics and Biology," and "Hormones and Breast Cancer." The D. R. Edwards Memorial lecture was delivered by Charles Huggins on "Methodology on Selected Induction of Cancer in Adult Rats." This is perhaps the most comprehensive review of breast cancer that has been published in recent years.
