In myopic phakic eyes, the insertion of incorrectly sized IOLs with angular supports may cause complications which have already been reported for anterior chamber implants in aphakic eyes. Haptic flexibility does not always make up for incorrect sizing due to imprecise preoperative evaluation of iridocorneal angle diameter.
