Abstract

Type III and IV hypersensitivity reactions to M. tuberculosis complex were involved in the pathogenesis of EI. Our results suggest that approximately half of the cases with pathologic findings consistent with EI or nodular vasculitis in Taiwan are associated with M. tuberculosis.
