Deleterious effects of telescoped bronchial anastomosis in single and bilateral lung transplantation.

Abstract

In single and bilateral lung transplants, telescoped anastomoses are associated with a higher incidence of bronchial anastomotic complications and postoperative pneumonia than end-to-end anastomoses.
