Correlation and path coefficients were studied for twelve characters utilizing thirty genotypes. Genotypic correlations in general were higher than phenotypic correlations. Seed yield showed significant and positive association with harvest Index and biological yield. The path coefficient analysis revealted that biological yield and harvest Index had high and positive direct effects on seed yield. Among the 11 independent contributing traits harvest index had major indirect contributions towards seed yield.
