Abstract

Abstract: All the existing methods of solving quartic equations (Descartes-Euler-Cardano’s, Ferrari-Lagrange’s, Neumark’s, Christianson-Brown’s, and Ya-coub-Fraidenraich-Brown’s ones) are particular versions of some universal method. It enables producing an arbitrary number of other particular algorithms with some desired properties. Dedicated to Vera P. Filinova my mathematics teacher.
