Pre‐clinical heterotopic intrathoracic heart xenotransplantation: a possibly useful clinical technique

Abstract

Longer-term results were difficult to achieve in this model due to the IS regimens used. However, we conclude that heterotopic intrathoracic heart transplantation may be an option for clinical xenotransplantation.
