Abstract

SUMMARY Sodium hyaluronate (Healon)is a n aid in the surgical management of anterior chamber reformation and lysis of irodocorneal, vitreocorneal adhesions. Patients with aphakic persistent flat chambers, iris and vitreocorneal adherence associated with severe hypotony, and large choroidal separations are more easily treated with this new viscoelastic material.
