Abstract

As a delivery system, fibrin gel loaded with gentamicin performs better than contact lenses soaked in gentamicin. The opposite is true for vancomycin, where soaked lenses outperform fibrin gel. These systems could potentially be used as a treatment for bacterial keratitis.
