Airflow Limitation and Endothelial Dysfunction. Unrelated and Independent Predictors of Atherosclerosis

Abstract

Endothelial dysfunction does not mediate the association between airflow limitation and atherosclerosis. Instead, airflow limitation and endothelial dysfunction seem to be unrelated and mutually independent predictors of atherosclerosis.
