Clinical value of endoscopy and histology in the diagnosis of duodenogastric reflux disease.

Abstract

The presence of duodenogastric reflux disease cannot be accurately diagnosed with endoscopic or histologic criteria. The diagnosis should be made with objective techniques, particularly when surgical therapy is considered.
