Nine representative soil profiles from three distinct physiographic units of the Vindhyan scarpland areas were studied for the Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn status in relation to important soil factors and different land forms. Soils in the upper elevation contained more micronutrient cations than the soils on lower elevation. Copper was significantly and negatively correlated with pH. Iron and Mn showed significant negative correlation with pH, EC and CaCO3.
