Abstract

In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, TIMP-2 may have a more crucial role in prognosis than MMP-2, MMP-9 or angiogenesis. In ampullary adenocarcinoma, MMP-2 expression correlated with MVD, supporting its postulated role in angiogenesis.
