It has recently been shown by Roberts that solutions of the stellar wind equations depend essentially on a single parameter IC = 12A where E is the (dimensionless) residual energy per particle at infinity and A is a nondimensional constant proportional to the reciprocal of the mass flux C. This transformation makes it a comparatively simple matter to examine solutions for a wide variety of A and t . The calculations reported below are for the range 75 <K < 2000, which covers many cases of astrophysical interest.
