Isolated Dislocation of the Medial Cuneiform Bone—A Rare Injury of the Tarsus

Abstract

1. An unusual dislocation of the medial cuneiform bone of the foot is reported. 2. The diagnostic importance of obtaining a detailed history of the mechanism of injury is stressed, because the roentgenographic appearance of the dislocation can be confusing. Treatment was open reduction and arthrodesis.
