Abstract

1. The enzymes (adenosine triphosphate-sul- phate adenylyltransferase, EC 2.7.7.4, and aden- osine triphosphate-adenylylsulphate 3'-phospho- transferase, EC 2.7.1.25) catalysing the synthesis of adenosine 3'-phosphate 5'-sulphatophosphate have been shown to be present in ultrasonic extracts of E8cherichia coli and Bacillu8 subtilia.
