Recent Epidemiological Data on Behçet’s Disease in Iran

Abstract

ConclusionRecent nation-wide survey in Iran revealed a remarkable decrease of the incidence rate of BD and a tendency toward milder forms of the disease as was noticed in previous studies5. This may have many explanations such as changing patterns of the disease, inclusion of milder forms of the disease, and finally the impact of new treatments on the course of the disease.
