Current-mode companding √ <i>x</i> -domainintegrator

Abstract

Log-domain integrators and filters are considered to be a promising alternative in the area of low-voltage filtering applications. The authors present the MOS strong inversion analogue, a √x-domain integrator. Simulation results demonstrate the viability of this new approach.
