Sixteen patients with Ewing's sarcoma treated by local irradiation and 10 patients treated by similar local irradiation plus 300 rads total-body irradiation are compared. Survival in the latter group was moderately improved, justifying further evaluation of this form of systemic therapy in Ewing's sarcoma.
