Ethanolic extract of Convolvulus pluricaulis petals extract (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg., p.o.) significantly enhanced the time spent on open arm after acute, sub acute and chronic treatment. Further in lower doses the extract did not affect locomotor activity. Our findings demonstrated that the petal extract of plant exerted antianxiety effect in mice on elevated plus maze.
