Guidance Document for performing LCAs on Fuel Cells and H₂ Technologies

Abstract

This document gives guidance for conducting a LCA study on hydrogen production. Adapted from the ILCD Handbook and the ISO 14040 series, the document gives an overview of how to carry out a LCA on hydrogen production. This is done by delivering a specific set of rules with clear specifications about the information and issues that have to be considered and reported in a LCA study on hydrogen production systems .
