Abstract

In order to investigate Fixed Field Alternating Gradi-ent(FFAG) principle for high intensity proton synchrotron, a small POP(Proof Of Principle) FFAG which accelerates proton beams from 50keV to 500keV has been developed. Up to now, injection, beam storage and acceleration were successfully demonstrated, and show satisfactory agree-ment with calculation. 1
