We present an existence result and some comparison results for a sec- ond order boundary value problem for ordinary dierential equations with impulses at fixed moments. Then, it is presented the monotone iterative scheme. Finally we study the validity of the monotone iterative technique for a discontinuous nonlin- earity in the dependent variable.
