Variable length chloroplast markers for population genetic studies in <i>Acmispon</i> (Fabaceae)

Abstract

Although genotypes were easily generated and sized, sequencing may be more informative of genetic variation in loci with complex repeat regions. These loci exhibit substantial variation and should be useful for understanding genetic structure associated with seed dispersal in Acmispon.
