Abstract

Net (W = 0.16 J) and unreinforced specimens (W = 0.12 J). Statistical analysis showed that the impact strength was higher in fiber-reinforced specimens (p<0.05). Conclusions: The position and the type of reinforcement influenced the values of the impact strength. Reinforcing the denture base resin with E-glass fibers is obviously beneficial and the reinforcement with Stick TM is significant for improving the impact strength of the material.
