Silicone Oil in the Surgical Treatment of Traumatic Endophthalmitis

Abstract

Under treatment with systemic antibiotics, vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling may be a reasonable alternative to standard endophthalmitis treatment using intravitreal antibiotics.
