A high performance fiber-shaped supercapacitor is fabricated from macroscopic CNT films by adding polypyrrole (PPy) to the electrodes and hydroquinone (HQ) to the electrolyte, simultaneously. HQ and PPy have synergistic effects on the supercapacitor.
