Cytology of benign multicystic peritoneal mesothelioma in peritoneal washings

Abstract

The combination of cytology of the peritoneal washing, histology (cell block and surgical specimen) and clinical history allow differentiation of BMPM from other cystic lesions (cystic lymphangioma and malignant mesothelioma).
