MR Imaging in Pelvic Inflammatory Disease: Comparison with Laparoscopy and US

Abstract

MR imaging is more accurate than transvaginal US in the diagnosis of PID and provides information about the differential diagnosis of PID. MR imaging may reduce the need for diagnostic laparoscopy.
