The general purpose of this paper is to investigate the behaviour of space structures with compositive nodes. Compositive nodes do not need any specific “node piece” or “unit”, and they are not subjected to special requirements for their assembly. Assembly speed in these connections is quite high. Standard member sections and composite action with concrete slabs are some of the special advantages of compositive systems. By focusing on the structure modeling in this paper, closeness of analysis and test results is demonstrated. 3-D modeling, modeling of eccentricity of joints, material nonlinearity and load-deflection diagrams of the structures are among the aspects investigated in this paper.
